TWISTERBOX

Twisterbox is synonymous with continuous layer formation. Presented by ACMI back in 2002, Twisterbox has actually revolutionised the concept of layer formation and allowed palletising systems to reach very high speeds. Twisterbox has a robust and accessible structure suitable for containing one to three gripping modules. Each module consists of a robotic carbon gripper that moves along the two Cartesian axes to handle the packs that slide on a motorised belt and thus form the layer of product to be palletised. Delicacy, speed, flexibility and precision are the key features of this system, which, in its most complete configuration, is capable of reaching speeds of 140,000 cans per hour in 2×2 packs even without overpacking. Special applications: Repacking, GoGreen.

TWISTERBOX MULTILINER

The Twisterbox layer formation system can also be configured with the multiliner function. Presented by ACMI back in 2002, Twisterbox has actually revolutionised the concept of layer formation and allowed palletising systems to reach very high speeds. Delicacy, speed, flexibility and precision are the key features of this system, which, in its multiliner configuration, can handle the simultaneous palletisation of different products and generate two different pallets, or even combine packs of different flavours on a single pallet to generate the so-called rainbow pallet, a typical application of repacking lines.

TWISTERBOX D

Twisterbox D is a special configuration of the Twisterbox system in which the traditional grippers are replaced with special grippers, also robotic, suitable for carrying out the continuous pack sorting function. Thanks to this special configuration, Twisterbox D transforms into a very high-speed continuous pack divider. Delicacy, speed, flexibility and precision remain the key features of the Twisterbox system even in this configuration.
